correct, no competition. the mk2 is lardy.

That Mk2 is my best mates car... really nice car... cant see him having much problem selling it..

Mine is an anniversary and managed to get it with 58k miles on it! Took a bit of searching, i was originally after a colour concept though. They have colour coded leather

I would definately go for an old skool gti mk1 or mk2 and nothing beats a corrado imo

I really like Oak Green mk2's, but that mk1 is my ultimate dream Dub!
If only I had the space and the need for a 2nd car.

wheeler dealers is on sky the now and they are buying a mk1 gti golf for 700quid and cleaning it up puting it back to original spec

Colin - my mate (Dale) has an orange/red 79 mk1 that he is basically giving away.

Been sat for a few years now, needs a bit of welding. Interior is stripped but nearly all there (just not attached)

Was bought as a project but he's got houses and a kid to think about now.
