If you go back in a few days, i'm sure you'll be let in, and they won't even notice you.

hmmm i worked the doors for 4 years, and a lot of my friends are still currently doing it, all decent blokes who just need the extra cash or enjoy the social aspect of it.
Looking at attitudes of the young lads on here towards doorstaff can see why half the shit happens.
End of the day there are there to protect the premises and its clientiele. would be a different story if some rugby lads started filling you in because you were gobby, then who do you go running to for help?

I love how everyone on CS is an expert on the issue.
I might link this thread to www.workingthedoors.co.uk and see what they all think. guarantee you it would be a 15 pager thread

what would you expect to gain from taking the situation further? You got booted out of the club in an orderly manner. Are you only allowed out once a year?

I got booted out on new years eve at 11pm once because my mates were being cunts and I happened to be stood with them.
I argued it, my mates even explained to them I wasnt involved. They never let me back in, happy new year

1) management will always back up their staff/bouncers
2) managerment can refuse to have anyone they like on the premises, dont need to give a reason....so be thankful you got one

Im a doorman, been working doors for 4years now, and Im not a twat, but yes some of the guys I work with are headcases.
Doorman have the right to refuse entry or eject anyone if they 'suspect' you of anything wrong. If you remain on the property you are there against the licencees wishes and therefore trespasing (thats how police see it).
Licenced doormen have the right to use 'minimal force neccessary' to remove you from the premises. They dont however, have the right to put the boot in or 'hit' anyone.
If you feel youve been mistreated you can make a complaint to the police in which case they may ask to see the CCTV, however, TBH not much comes of stuff like this because usually if doormen are gonna act heavyhanded theyl do it off CCTV areas.
The best thing you can do is get the doormans SIA licence number (somehow) and report him to the SIA (Security Industry Authority) which is the government run licencing authority. He may have his licence removed temporarily.
Sorry dude. In defence of doormen tho, we have to deal with the pissed up punters every weekend, most which arent as diplomatic as yourself, and whilst Im always as sound as possible to customers, Ive been twatted too many times to worry if Im not. Thats just the way it is.

I had that once, I went to the cloak room at 2am to get my jacket because the cunts had the back doors open to cool the place down, right next to where me & mates were standing. Got my jacket which was actually a hoody top & started going back to where the mates were standing...then 2 bouncers jump on me & pull me to the ground, rag doll me through the double doors & start accusing me of selling drugs
Now im about one of the most sober in the place (made for a change - wasnt feeling too good so wasnt going for it) I argued my case said look who saw me selling any gear, search me etc...they wernt interested. I asked if I could go get the gf to leave with her - no your going NOW!!! So there I was thrown out into the street 2hrs before the club closed no phone to call anyone & no decent explanation to why Im now outside!
I think most are nothing more than jealous plebheads!!!!

way you need to look at it chaz, you'll be surprised hwo much bother bouncers/pub managerment get EVERY night.....gets to the point when youve had neough, cant be bothered with being all nice, diplomatic and understanding, so just have to remove the problem. If they suspect someone of using your ID, or whatever, theyre not goina come over and have a friendly chat about it, a fight could be kicking off else where, so they'll just kick you out, problem solved. its not a case of being gits, just trying to make a difficult job easier

Because it pretentious attitudes like refusing to leave and answering back no matter how polite like you are demonstrating now that did not help your case.
They can eject you or refuse entry without reason, maybe because you have brown shoes on. Just live with it and accept it
We all have problems just be grateful yours is so trivial so stop moaning and go to Joanna’s in Gosport.

To be honest with you...you dont have a case...
Stop spouting bollocks regarding the HRA as clearly you dont know what your talking about...
Get a grip and deal with the fact you was ejected...
Shit happens

look at it this way. The door staff can refuse entry to who ever they want. I get let into different bars in nottingham when im wearing timberland boots and stuff when its shoes only because the door staff know me and know im not going to cause any trouble.
If you show any attitude then they know you are a problem.
Give up and move on.

If you make a fuss, and dont get anywhere, they'll single you out EVERY time you go back there.
it happens to everyone, I got chucked out of a bar the other week because my mate was "smoking drugs", when he clearly wasnt
just forget about it, its not worth bothering with.

then they give us the shpeal of "i tell you waht guys im gonna let you in tonight but drop the attitude". i was like "what attitude" and they started bitching.
fucking tossers
and to top it all off we were speaking to some girls in there who we know and they are only 17

this pissed me off
Few weeks ago me and some mates tried to get into a club but a few of us didn't have IDs. Never really need to carry them round locally so didn't think to bring them. Anyway we went back and got them and got in, got chatting to some girls and they were all 17/18.
One rule for blokes, one rule for them. Girls hardly ever get ID'd.
And people wonder why there are so many teenage pregnancies these days.
