Probably not mate... appallinly priced, so far reviews are hardly rave so may see what happens!
Re. car you just go for an allowance instead of the actual car
SO say you had a BMW 3 Series that cost £25k (for example) it may have a taxable benefit of £4,500... upon which you would pay tax... well isntead, they would pay you summat oin the region of the benefit... but pay it gross ie you actually receive NET £4,500 instead of a car Saves everybody money!

ALWAYS smart advice chap

From what you have suggested id certainly go for the teaching think it would be a much more rewarding job and certainly more realistic given your circumstances, there is a course where you do a foundation course and spend 2 days a week in school as a assistant its kind of an agreement you stay with that school for a minimum few years once qualified but in doing so you get the golden handshake payment from the government so is well worth it.
Opting for law would take you around 7 years of study to acheive something half decent as a career,
teaching is a good wage and i bet if you got on a decent school would be a really good job. Possibilities are out there pal you just got to get them.

You get your money back if you stay in teaching for 3 years? Really?
Is that just certain subjects?

Take you probably about 6 years if you wanted to go all the way through that but just AAT would see you around the £18k mark after a few years then use experience to build up your salary if you didn't want to study further!
I'm about to qualify fully and am set to hit £38k + car on the very day Will be 25 upon the day in question!
I need an audit manager for Ernst and Young in the Carribean
Anyway....
Find a colege that does Oil and Gas training, 18 months there, 18 months on a rig 2 weeks on 2 off and walla....32k a year plus overtime at £50 per hour

I'm kind of in the same shitty boat but realised quicker, fucked up a levels to start with after 2 years, then did dead end jobs that i couldn't handle like tele-sales for a year then decided to go back to get a degree, wich meant a-levels first, luckily only had to do AS's which gave me enough to get to Huddersfield uni (one of easiest to get into.) Now in the third year, problem is i still don't know what i want to do, i picked health and sport studies as i have an interest in it so then i knew i'd stick at the course and hopefully get a degree. Once i've got that, god knows though! End of the day i've enjoyed my years at uni and made some good mates either way.

What career path are u choosing... ACA/CIMA are NEEVR mentioned int he same breath tho! I would advise eithe ACCA or CIMA but never ACA, its the easy route and doesnt pay as well long term, alos prepares u less than ACCA an CIMA!

Took banter mans advice & trawled through the Ucas site for something that I thought would be interesting to learn about/do for a living
Picked one out - Criminology & Pshycology
Its a 3 year degree & I can do an extra year & become Dr Matt
Really like the sound of the course & what it contains etc, plus it'll lead to an interesting job afterwards in the police/prison service doing stuff like mental profiling etc
Although I haven't got A levels they've let me apply based on the fact Im a bit older & I had good marks on all the relevant key subjects but just as a GCSE
Might not get in, but if I don't I can do the foundation course this year & then start my degree the year after
Just waiting on a phone call sometime within the next few days to find out
