fcuk me that's a lot of water. I do 2 litres a day, only because it means I can skive off work to visit the toilet often

its not even spring yet and it was getting on to 28 degrees outside today, around 30 inside where i work. i sweat it all out Dave, perhaps drink a 600ml bottle of water every 45 mins or so.

SSJ KARROT, i know that probably isnt enough but i dont have any spare time to worry about protein suppls. reckon its worth havin a high protein shake in the morning or something?

I know what u mean Ed... they eat their guideline amount, dont exercise and wont why they dont loose weight.

You should eat less than the guideline amount of calories each day and exercise to shift the weight

Only way i can do it is to eat super dooperly well (brank flakes, fruit for brekkie, chicken sarnie and fruit/jacket tater and beans for dinner, then chicken and veg for tea)

I do an hour in the gym almost every day, but thats mainly so i can have a fat arsed dinner one night on the weekend

becasue every one has a maintenance number of calories that they need to intake to maintain there current weight, as a rough guide its 2000 cals a day for women and 2500 for men.

generally people count calories when they want to lose weight, so you figure out your maintenance calories and then eat less calories than it takes to maintain your weght.

e.g. if you need 2500 cals a day to maintain body weight, you eat 2300 and excersise and you will lose weight.

A lot of body builders especially serious ones will calorie count, and they need to know exactly how many calories is needed to either bulk there weight up or cut there weight down for comps ect.

At the moment im cutting to bring body fat down, so i count all the calories i take in a day (well i have a specific diet planed out each day any way) but yeh thats why people count calories.

Basically it is concerned with how the body works and how to manipulate it in different ways.

can understand it if you're working and doing a manual job. Your bladder must be the size of a football

I tend to only drink that amount whenever I'm playing football and it's a hot day.

No, I cook almost everything from scratch so I know whats going into my food and I can make a decision about what I should put into a meal. If you live on microwave shite then you need to read the lables and not only worry about the calories, but also the carbs and the fat. Oh and expecially the salt.

Yes definetly very beneficial if your looking to put on muscle, protein shakes dont take long to make and down, maybe 5 mins if that.

Also i find it much less hassle if i make my food for the next day the night before and put them in containers.

I don't live on "microwave shoot" mate, I usually have sandwiches for work, only sometimes when neither of us get round to making them the night before I'll take a ready meal. I probably have 1 of those a week.

Amanda is quite a good cook as well so we eat quite healthy when we get home (she's trying to lose some weight so I have to suffer )
