mostly because the audi is fucking unreliable and cost a fortune to fix Great car but even with remap, still not breathtaking. Can be made to look very with some nice wheels, lowered and colour coded. Good MPG, smooth drive but as above, not as quick as you would expect unless you start to throw a fair bit of money at it.
If you do get one and remap it, do not put on an FMIC, you will see no benefits unless you have a much bigger turbo. I still advise steering clear of induction kits too. If its a 97/98 AGU engine, make sure it has had all the recall work done on it like brake vacuum lines i think. Check the bottom sills, remove them and look behind for rust. They rust badly as water sits in there. Diverter valves are shite as standard, so are the MAF sensors. Anything ya need to know, just gimme a u2u and ill help all i can.

I know a lad with an A3, he says the electrics are shit.
He keeps getting problems with airbag, driving lights and clocks.

I was considering them but they arent very quick for the amount of cash they cost.
Top of my list of possible next cars is currently an Mk4 Astra GSi
Best value for money IMO, good value for money, 0-60 in around 7 secs. Loads of extras. Look good, cheap to run.
Theres an arden blue one on AT at the mo with 30k on the clock for £7k and IMO that is a bargain and a lot of car for the money

The Leon is actually second on my list of hopefuls, purely because if i got a Leon, it would be a Cupra R, which is more £££ than the Astra

Yes I know, but if I cant afford it theres not much I can do
Because if I got a Cupra R I would want a 225 which havent dropped below £10-11k yet.
