it most prob will be written off. in most bodyshops ur talking at least 1k to fix that. (insurance approved shops) best bet is let them write it off n buy it back and get it fixed privately. i knwo to look at that the floors not creased and its a very straightforward repair..

my missus had this happen to hers and they repaired it, damaged came to about £800.

so as long as the floor isnt creased you may get away with it.

My girlfriend dented the rear quater of her Ford KA as she drove into a driveway, it caused a similar amount of damage as your Corsa.
I took it to a local bodyshop and they only charged £250 to pull it out and re-spray.
If I were you I'd get a few quotes first before going through the insurance as they might right it off. Then even if you buy it back it will be marked as a CAT C/D and therefore be worth less.

LOL No way thats a write off, i work for the 2nd largerst car repair company in the UK (Just Car Clinics) and the amount of cars i see damaged and fixed, i can safely say that is not a write off.
Needs a new quarter, and maybe a repair to the inner quarter, cant see if theres any damage to the door, then just needs paint, paint the quarter, and blend the front door, cause its metallic.
If its wrote off, then thats just stupid.

I had an M-reg GSI and my rear quarter was hit along with damaged boot floor, bent axle smashed skirts, wheels rear lights etc etc and i kicked up a fuss and the insurance paid to repair the car. The repair bill came to a few pounds short of £4000

to be fair, how do you know (or any of us) if its a write off or not. we can only see a pic of the car, we cant see underneath or suspension or anything really.
