dunno just no that it is, i raced a heap of saxo when my thing was standard and when i had done stuff to it.

saxo and the pug are the same speed. you were obviously a better driver and/or car was in better nick and various reasons really. but the cars are the same

no mate i was taking the piss, they're both the same

both 0-60 in 7.5 both 0-100 22 secs both top out at 129mph

think you will find the gti tops out on paper at 128mph. put a vts and old style gti on a quarter mile and the gti will win.

well that depends on individual driver skill doesn't it. both cars weigh pretty much the same, both have same engine, gearbox etc both cars were tested by EVO magazine to accelerate at the same speeds
