If you are going to take about lines then the coupe has got flawless ones IMO, its a classic design.

The FTO doesnt really have lines, and is just a average 90`s sports car design that will soon be long forgotton IMHO.

The FTO still looks pretty to teh average joe imo, the coupe probably doesnt, but its got that 'something' about the styling that makes it special.

There are plenty of Fiat specialists out there who undercut Fiat dealers by a long way - think Fiat charge c £1200 for a Cambelt change, where somewhere like Powerfiat is more like £400. A good site to have a look on is www.fccuk.org for info - they're a friendly bunch.

The cars are awsome, but are scary in the corners and have a fair bit torque steer - nothing a srut brace wont sort out. They are expensive to maintain though - mines in need of some engine TLC at the minute.

Not the best photo's....

If anyone wants to make an offer and fix the engine they're more than welcome - i'm getting wed in 2 months and just don't have the cash

FTO has stunning lines, the basis of which havent been forgotten. .

Think the coupe is either a car you love or hate.

Well, wen't for my test drive and my mind is made up!

Definately not!

Turbo lacks agression, doesn't boot you up the ass even a fraction like mine does. The clutch is horrible, the fact i have to stretch a few metres to change gear is poo.

It's gonna be hard to top mine, or even be at a level near it. If I had to give it a rating i'd give it 5/10. My R5GTT was a million times more fun, and my scooby is a million times more fun than my R5.

Long live the Scooby! When I got back in it I appreciated it even more, everything about it is better I just couldn't down grade that much

whats the spec of your scooby? is it a UK spec ? if so performance shouldnt be so different, also sometimes power can be decieving, it may have a smoother boost curve, i have been in slower turbo cars that give more of a kick but are acutally slower

Nah, it's a Jap import, 265bhp standard and with mods is 280-290bhp. Pulls away from Newage STI's and totally anihilates UK Scoobies, and when I say anihilates I mean absolutely and utterly, i was shocked

Guy who I dusted in his UK newage came over and was like "woah, that is the illest ride"

Ry - Yeah, I just get bored after 6 months and usually get another car, but i'm slowly realising mine is hard to beat. I might just get another scooby, maybe a 2dr or somethin

Out the box they handle pretty good anyway, thought it was quite a firm ride but not harsh.

I think that's it!

Don't get me wrong. Buy a short shift kit for gears, sort clutch out, get it remapped and boost turned up and would probably be hald descent, but honestly, my car would piss on it totally. I was watching the speedo as we were goin down the slip road thinkin "mine would be at 100mph by now "

Your going to struggle to get something that puts you back in your seat like your scooby. Get a 2dr or an Evo even better

Would only have an EVO 5/6 if any, later ones just blend into the crowd with the mondeos, i'd stick with a scooby just for the sound alone TBH. I'm gonna have a look at 2drs, I really really fancy a white one
