Why do you always say that the Police do stupid things. Fact of the matter is that the Police only report the matter to the procecutor and they decide what happens. The reason it has took 5 months is cause there is such a backlog (for less serious cases). It is up to the Fiscal (or English Verson) to decide what course of action they wish to take.
Everybodys to quick to blame the Police when they dont understand the system

here here, I put it down to lack of uderstanding about the police why we receive this negative attitude.

write them a letter asking why they think you need to improve your driving based on the fact of a crash that was out of your control no matter how good a driver you are

Thing is it says on the letter if not correspondance is recieved in 14 days then we assume you decline the course and want to go to magistrates!
