You looking to work offshore colin?
If you are look at the noggie sector 2 weeks on, 4 weeks off The have golk simulators, ice cream machines etc etc... I was on a Statoil rig (statfjordA) for an afternoon catching a lift in a chopper a week ago and was really surprised how nice (not nice, but not scabby, or industrial) the setup is.... plus there seemed to be as much women on board the rig as men. Not meaning that in the way it might sound... but being stuck with blokes isnt the best all the time

my standard hours are 40 hours a week but i work 48 hours every week, as i finish at 3.30pm so work on till 5.30 good bit extra in the wage packet,
i can also do weekend which are 2x12 hour shifts which is around the same as my wage packet for that 2days as i get double time
