yep, just sat for my exams
I'm was doing the LLB finals Part 2 with the Uni of London EP
results due end july...hopefully all positive esp the jurisprudence and EU law was quite tricky,
Family Law and Administrative was pretty good
I want to go for an LLM coupled with an ACCA (would do part time though) ...would be nice...helping me get some money for a conversion on my corsa
BTW wish you luck and all the best on the next step

Please explain to me why its hard to get 66%
because the exmaners are always drunk when correcting our papers...
Anyway I got 64 in evidence and land law in my 2nd yr and was in heaven
Actually, I think it is difficult due to the fact that you need at least a 2:1 to be able to do your legal practice

I have to agree with this.
66% can't be that good a mark.
If it is the standard of the exam is too high and should be brought down to give a better representation of the students.
If 66% is that good how are the people who get 100% differentiated?
Edit to say i'm not saying you haven't done well getting th 66% as I haven't seen the exam.
But the scale the exam is marked in is about 1/3 too long.

No I don't actually.....
I was just wondering 'why' its so difficult to get 2/3rds of something right?

I repeat: 66% is a very good mark
Professional exams are not EASY, that is why people who pass them get paid well!
Ask 10 students if they would be happy with 66% and 9 would bite your hand off!

100% in legal studies means you are a LOrd (still doubt it)
i am talking for my exams....The best possible result achieved worldwide at the Uni of London Ext Prog has been 72 and that in 1 subject only...not even average

because they just do it so that 1/3 goes wrong

The reason is that there is simply so much in the syllabi these days that to try and learn it all is impossible and the working/layout of exams is partocularly tricky and is coupled with time pressures... for example...
see if you can do this in 3 hours without any reading time:

In fairness, it's not you that have to put up with know all graduates...who in all fact know probably 10% of what it takes to actually do the job you've spent all the time studying for
If what you say is true about being overloaded, then specialisation should be the way forward....and please dont mention post grad stuff.

Ahh now graduates, theres a different story I'm more talking about prof qualifications rather than degrees although the similar concept applies, theoretically degrees should be easier!

you will need some time
...or embark on one of the said degrees (or maybe you already have one )
