Unless the handlings better is it going to make a difference which one that tested? Might I also add that CTR was the pre facelift is slightly slower than the facelift late 03 onwards.

Cupra R is an okay car and I nearly bought one! I wish the CTR was as easy to modify. Looks wise the CTR won, plus I got a day with a x police driving instructor all paid for by Honda

my issue isnt particularly with you, but the barrage of wankers i see in CTRs most days, that drive as close as they can to your ass, it has to be said that everyone i have seen in a CTR thinks they are the fastest thing on this planet

Can be said about any driver, i have 3 mates with CTR's and none of them do this, i also encounter them most days (CTR drivers) and none of them do what you said, however i have had a lad in a leon Cupra waving his fingers, flashing his lights etc because i wouldnt speed up.

I do drive fast but I dont do that up the arse of the person in front unless they cut me up.

Living southend the CTR is a target for all saxo's and fiesta st's. Now mines been modified and sounds good I've been getting rx8's and focus st's trying to take me off the road.

It's a quick car but most cars out there will leave a ctr for dead off the lights as you dont get power till you get high up into the revs. Cam changes at about 40mph in 2nd so most cars are gone so I dont sit at lights reving my nuts off thinking im in a sports car

Steady VTEC through the gear range is the key to keeping a CTR moving fast. It's very easy to hit the rev limiter as I find I hit vtec in second then need to change to 3rd rather sharpish as the needle rapidly flys round. Change gear to soon and the car drops out of VTEC and the car takes time to build up the revs again.

If you can be bothered to drive a CTR properly it is rewarding and high speed country lane driving is a hoot, but it's all about that bloody cam change lol.

TBH I haven't seen or come across one CTR wanker, all I've seen were being driven sensibly, same with all Leons I've seen

What a load of horseshit steve why do you need to voice this, how many times has this been said in the past, he told you he didn't think it was the fastest thing in the world.

That mini looks well mean btw

Why is it that people hate CTR's and call them 'slow' and say they have 'crap engines'. But when it comes to ITR's and s2000's they suddenly love the engines.

Standard for standard the CTR is an even match for an ITR in a straight line from a loving start. Only the ITR's LSD makes it slightly quicker from a standstill.

The EP CTR looks shit. This is the problem.

The EK CTR is a nice car. The EP is not. End of.
