But its a member off here, who owns the plate J200 RSA....which was subsequently taken when he registered to ebay so he slightly altered his desired username to what was available.

I doubt he is going to do any ill harm & try to make people think he is someone else!!

i don't see what the big problem is tbh, my reg was already taken so i chose the J100 one instead big deal, its not as if i'm pretending to be dan or anything like that its just a user name. its like if somebody on ebay has the user name Eminem for example do you really think that eminem would make a big fuss over that or really give a toss. it will be clear that its not dan anyway when the payment details come up and its says Joe and not dan to send the items to.

Disregarding its involvement with being a car reg plate, 99.9% of ebay users will just see it as a jumble up of letters & numbers - totally irrelevant to anything in life, as with many ebay usernames.

If you're on here and saying that then you're probably right. The problem would be if it was someone we didn't know who had set it up in order to look like Dan or who was going to do some dodgy deals.
