I only have one criteria on that list dam
1. Cost less than £1k (Yep)
2. You must have no fear while driving it at its limits. (It rolls like a bitch i am always scared)
3. Dont give a hoot about the state its kept in. (resotring it so sort of do)
4. You have to laugh when you reverse 'by accident' into the tree outside the house & when bits of trim fall off while driving. (its massive would knock the tree over)
5. It must never be washed!! (i love washing cars)

Thought it would be funny to knock the g/f's wheelie bin over the other day, sent it flying

After I sold the Punto GT, I got a 1.6 16v Vectra for £600. Had it for 9 months, its done over 120,000 miles and cost me £100 for an exhaust and battery. I rally it to work every day (clutch is getting a bit juddery)
Best bit - it came with Speedlines. They are coming off to go on the valver!

My old E class is lovely.
It cost me 600 quid including 10 months tax a year ago and now stands me in only £1200 after having a full stainless system fitted and changing the cap, rotor arm and plugs and getting her MOTd.
She's built like a brick outhouse and drives like one of those Scarab power boats in Miami Vice.
She's 16 years old nearly, and has no rust at all.The interior is practically mint and she has amazing paintwork for the most.
She's a bit juicy, but nowhere near as bad as the V8 or the Turbo, and I can leave her anywhere and scare van drivers out of my way in it.
Need to get some better tyres though as the ones it is fitted with seem to do the opposite of what tyres are supposed to do the moment there is a drop of rain on the roads.
Need to re-pack and adjust the front bearings, and she needs a good wash and polish too but they are just details.
She'a a cracking little daily driver and will last indefinitely.
