Still doing it mate I've got 13 weeks left. You need to finish your 2 years probation before you can specialise but it depends on what you want to do you can wait years for some things.

If it's the same as down here Matt they insist on you living within 30 miles of your station. Does it say when they will be recruiting again?

I have my own fireprotection firm, I run it from my home office, mainly by phone, go on site visits etc (usually have a contracts manager to do all that though, but I like to spread the workload), I got into fireprotection out of school, my old man did it and I was trained by him and college to aquire my certificates, it's 'very' good money, stupidly high infact and I now have a month off to watch the world cup

Tbh mate I haven't got enough experience to tell you what that would entail. If you want to be front line hang on for that, from what I can see there isn't any other job like it.

I'm a DJ, only work 2 nights a week and get £600 a month, with other bits on top for other things, but it's roughly the same...
If I took on more nights and stuff I'd get alot more, but I love every second of it, and it's the job satisfaction that I like, not the money although it's nice

Work in a warehouse as a supervisor but i'm hoping to start college in September to study a part time Accounts course. That last 31 weeks, so hopefully sometime next year i'll have a 'proper' job.
