T was because my mum is an idiot and thought you had to get one the same letter as the cars original reg.

theres loads of similar ones on the DVLA site

If I was keeping mine for a bit longer and I had some money I'd consider a private plate, wouldn't be able to find a cheap one though for what I'd want really

I got J30 EDM off DVLA for £250, my name is Joe Edmondson so its pretty good. Plus my dads got H2 EDM, H3 EDM and H4 EDM so its in keeping with EDM tradition.

Got mine off the DVLA same plate on new Reg was 370 something, got it for 250 off DVLA

its ok getting TGR on your plate but what about when you come to sell the car you mat not get a tigra again?

That DVLA site is shite....I've searched for Ryan in loads of different ways and it comes up with things like "RY02 CAN"

I bet that is worth a few quid, i kind of want one but not really got 250 (cheapest) to blow, plus most look gash when my mate has G4TES on his motor.

the spacing above is not legal but its up to you whether you risk it or not the police can stop you and either give you a warning or a fine, in worse case circumstances the dvla can also revoke the plate for misrepresentation

Strictly speaking no

Mine SHOULD be spaced as "G4 VSX" however if you order online (say gtgrafix etc....) they will space it as you like it!

Personally I wouldnt mess around with changing fonts/sticking bolts through letters etc... Thats asking to be stopped and its upto a £1000 fine and revocation of the plate if you get caught!

Stick with proper font and it shouldnt cause you a problem! Ive never been stopped for it (owned it for 3 years now)

got mine off the dvla website J90 RBH

J=july 90=1990 RBH= my initials

got it for £250
