probly somewhere on sky sports, dont bombard us with figrues, big games and such liek are whats important. a brazilian doing it against a load of shit at the bottom of a south american league doesnt really count as much as scoring against greece to take us to cup that time when it seemed to be becks vs greece

No no I was just curious, although Juninho P. has scored 26 free kicks for Lyon in 94 games including 11 in 2 years of Champions League.

lol i support bolton and he used to be an absoulte master, he should get credit for how good he used to be. I remember him scoring against aston villa in the carling cup semi's and i was behind the goal when he bent it the otha way and you saw it whip up so fast it was the best free kick i've ever seen

Jizinho - not sayin he isnt good mate, but beckham is the best, not many non united fans will admit it, but its more than obvious

I've only included players who are thought of as 'at the death free kick takers'.

that the same brazilian thats scored maybe ten times more in the champions league than beckham has

dont get me wrong though im not denying the fact beckham is the best indirect free kick taker and the game against greece was the best single handed performance ive ever seen from 1 player never mind the free kick he scored.

Your opinion is based on what you see, mines based on statistics, opposition and the science in which he applies to the ball to make the keeper confused, many keepers complain about the sudden 'dip' of the ball in the last 10 yards on route to goal. I can curl a ball, so can Ronaldinho, Beckham etc... but what Juninho P. does is tricky, you have your opinion, I have mine, this thread is made for us to voice these opinions.

You've cast your vote, I've cast mine and that's all gravy matey. I'm not biased as my opinion of Juninho is that he's good at free kicks but he's not an outstanding midfielder.

I've never seen anyone do what Beckham does match after match, I watch all the Barca,Valencia and R Madrid games on sky and he puts atleast 5-10 40 yard balls to peoples feet.

he would have meant van hooijdonk when he was playing for feyenoord, scored 2 against rangers in europe to knock them out.

That was on top of the numerous efforts he scored for celtic against them

if hearts make it into europe we'll seeif he can perform against the best of them, hope he does to be honest.
