Does it have to be turbo? If not an ITR would be just as fun IMO, esp a nice spec JDM one

ATR then, can get a decent one for £5K and would be cheaper to maintain and potentially more reliable than what you have suggested

Depends if your using it every day or not.
Scooby will do the job fine, i had a turbo 2000 running 250bhp and i loved it to bits, great fun and totally 100% reliable even though it had stupid mileage and was on the original clutch. Classic scoobys need servicing every 6500 miles newer shape were up'd to 15k (if i remember rightly) Evo 6 manages 8 launches per clutch the 7 is marginally better but needs servicing ever 4500 miles - and thats not cheap. MR2's from what i hear are incredibly tail happy plus a little temperamental - but ive not owned one so dont know from personal experience. I had an Audi S3 that was great fun but a tad grown up and you couldnt get the stabillity control totally off - spoilt my fun!!! My focus RS i love, its incredible fun its lary at just the right times - unless you catch the torque steer wrong!!! But out of the list youve given the scooby will be the better one to live with IMO and experience. most insurance companies will want you to have a tracker on it though.

Jesus...is that a dash come out of a tug boat - looks awful!!
Id take the Impreza - MR2 is too skitty on the road & not enough cabin / boot space & Supra will be a bag of nails for 5k!!
