Fair play to liverpool was the best cup final i have ever witnessed, im a Westham fan born and bred and im gutted, i have managed to lose my voice through shouting :-( TYpical westham though

Are keepers allowed to dive forwards? I always thought this was against the rules. The ones good at saving pens are always the ones that dive off their line.

Got back last night from Cardiff, expected some more anti-liverpool banter from more people!
Was an excellent game (my nerves are fucked though) and glad we've got Gerrard as he ended up being the difference. It seems liverpool just like to put on a show when winning things though, Istanbul last year and now this! Wish we could just win it as doesnt do my heart any good.
On another note, surely this is obvious to everyone other than Sven, but Gerrard should play an attacking midfield role for England. Instead of being put into a defensive role so Lampard can go forward.

Gerrard is better than Lampard, at least Gerrard can tackle as well.

Also forgot to mention...the liverpool team were staying in out Hotel. Got pics of a few of them and me next to Crouch, fook he is bigger in real life than on the tele. I'll get pics up later today hopefully.

To be fair that was the best fa cup final i've ever seen, good to see loads of goals. I think the game was alot more competitiove than i'd expected although there goals were all a bit lucky apart from ashtons clean up maybe, Liverpool made hard work of it but as usual our best player and one of the best midfield players in the world egged us on to pull through the extra time, his goal on the 88th was a contender for goal of the season imo, well easily goal of the cup.
Credit to west ham though good sports, mate of mine said they were out in cardif mixing with all west ham fans and they were all really good fun etc, nice for a change.
Sven has to give gerrard a more open attacking role in the summer now imo (not on the basis of that game but that cemented it, and the fact it's another massive game that gerrard performed in), play him off a single attacker as he's not using his strengths at the moment. He could be a very very significant player this summer given the opportunity
