Yeh went in friday, thread been deleted now though but all is well.
Car really needs the extended bonnet and smoothed over number plate recess.
Just somewhere to place a 3/4 sized plate that wont luck silly if i got pulled by the fuzz for it and had to stick standard back on.
Only thing with removing most of the splitter is it would have very little strength as bottom section is rather fragile.

make sum metal C brackets up to bolt on the back to the bumper and spray them black, no one would see them and would give it alot of strength!

Lost on me  I just describe what i want to my bodyshop if its more than i can do bodywork wise by myself.
Its the only thing im not too keen on trying, i'l mess it up. but i'm loving that new look

Where would you put the plate?
A little metal bracket on the very bottom of the bumper holding it on? or nearer to the existing plate recess?

Been speaking to mate at the bodyshop about this......
He getting back to me with a price and a date etc, needs to be done for F&M show 16th July at latest
3/4 sized plate will be screwed to underside of bumper using little L brackets

When ever im on the road with the tractor, moving the combine, moving the caterpillar we have to be ready for car drivers that just cant stop in time!
A reasonable tractor with say 16 tonnes of wheat in the trailer, thats a total gross weight of getting on for 25+ tonnes. We have air brakes on the latest tractors but still need a large stopping distance. It will then take about 1-2 minutes to get back upto 35 mph on a road.
I could have so easily written off many cars and nearly killed 3 bikers who were overtaking on a bend. But we take as much action as we can to get off the road or to stop causing an accident.
Just try and think of it from our side every now and again ok chap
And i hate to say it you wont get any money from a farmer/contractor, half of them havent received there payments yet and owe large sums of money!

I will be i realise he can't stop as quick as mine was on a corner and both went for the grass but mine obviously came of worse being a tad lower than old tractor.
All is well as just means I'l have to change it a little and shall come back better than before (hopefully)
