was too rusty to pass another MOT, too costly fix or to trailer it places. So sold most of the bits and scrapped the shell after winning a 1/4 mile event

Great fun Only car I felt confident gunning sideways. I used to come off the roundabout outside work in the rain & let it slither side on all the way up the road

Engine was solid however the shell wasnt as good!! Check the floor pan's, arches, skirts, & boot for rust!! Mine had it everywhere

Surface rust wasnt the problem with mine...it was rotted to death underneath!!

If you look at one insist to lift the carpets & inspect whats under them as I didnt & when I got home I descovered a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGG hole

might be able to get a crusty one, body can be rusty/missing for all i care, as long as the chassis and engine are good enough

porsche 944 - still has one of the best handling of any non assisted rwd car to date due to perfect 50-50 weight distribution

galvanised so rust not a problem

reliable and even the wee 2.5 has bags of torque

quite a light car for its size its just under 1300kgs

ansd if you park up next to any of the oldr retro cars mentioned the looks will tear them a new arsehole the arches are mazin

can pick up loadsa older 1982-5 ones for a grand but may not have have much mot left if any but theres always a chance you can get lucky on ebay

even had proper hairy chested advertising

but then again i am a bit biased (sp)
