Ollie did his up from shitter to show standard, dont tthink it cost him THAT much?
£1300 for respray including new rear arches, suspension turrets welded new rear panel
£700 wheels
£1000 engine plus fitting
Miscellanous - £500, had new skirts fitted blah blah.
Just spent another 1k on the new engine, but you can do it in stages.

Interesting
Its the rear arches on my Corsa that are rusting. Maybe having that fixed & a respray is a better option than reshelling

Honestly Matt, you should see some of the Nova projects I've seen bough back from the dead. One girl on Novaload had the WHOLE back end of her car rebuilt and that included having all new rear suspension mounts welded in.
Get the panels from Sel Imperial, find a decent bodyshop (preferably one that doesn't advertise in Max Power) and it it all rebuilt, its so satisfying to see it all restored.

I've used Sel Iperial before, seem alright. Its more the inner arch thats going on mine, hopefully fairly easy to replace
But then theres a few other bits I dont like about my car for example the sunroof was fitted after it left the factory, the rear is 1/2 covered in soundproofing which is a coont to remove. Plus its fairly old

Well if you feel that bad, take everything off the Corsa you have at the moment and fit it all to the red one you have. Get it all sprayed up for around 1k.

Shock, horror, a 2.0 16v, Gsi replica on speedlines...you don't see many of them about, lol
Credit where credit's due though, it is a nice example.
