bank accound overdraft is about £1600, rarely use it though, and if i do it'd be just a couple of ton untill i get paid.
credit cards total allowance adds up to quite a bit, but only use two at a time. one which switches to whoever offers interest free credit to pay back some debt, and one to use that mostly gets paid off each month.

i'd noticed the opposite. started with a £50 limit when i was 16. took about a year untill i ventured into it. as soon as i did they offered to increase to £200.
each time i got within a certain amount of the limit, they saw that i was making use of it but still able to pay it back and kept upping it each time i used it more.

Ah banks, you've gotta love them.

Yes they will quite happily keep upping your overdraft.....right up to when you are out of your depth.

At this point you friendly bank manager will offer/force you to take out a loan to pay the overdraft off.

Works every time.

I work for a bank in the rich people portfolio most rich fookers are £0000.00s O/D and yet earn 200k a year

you can see pre assed information and if you can prove you have £ coming in then u can ask for much higher OD's

loans are cheaper then OD's it depends if u r always in it or not

I was too until I started earning more than i could spend....I'd be in the same shit If I had to take a salary drop.....I maxed out my overdraft a day before payday once too often and they (natwest) withdrew my chequing card and switch facility.

I had to pay by cash for everything for a year or so. A right royal PITA.

Avoid bank overdrafts if you can. Better to fire the monies onto a 0% credit card (again if you can)
