The P1 engine is the same as the STi's, just with a piggy back ecu for the uk fuel. I dont think it is sufficient enough.

i must admit, i drove my mates the other day and its so comfy and nice.

Making me start to think i might get something like that rather than build another v6 corsa.

My uncle got offered a Silver one the other day with morrete headlamps like that and 18" speed lines but only 340bhp. not far from standerd. Nice sound

i think one day i will have to own a scoob.. lovely cars, can be bought for decent money.. engines are pretty easy to work on engine out in about 30 mins is possible
price of parts and fuel consumption aint fun.. but a tuned LET aint far off that

P1s do have a problem with the bottom end. Iceman's the guru to speak to.

Basically they have a tendancy to errr, Melt. DET is the cause IIRC Most of them have managed to get bottom end rebuilds under warrenty....


Some of them however have neve r gone bang.
