theres a big petrol station a couple of miles away, ive always just left tools and stuff in the paddock, nothings ever gone walkabouts. I wouldnt say elvington eats tyres, its worse than a proper race track but unless your spinning your wheels or locking up a few times every lap a half decent set of tyres will be fine.

might pop along to spectate.

any of you been around elvington? i've raced there on my bike loads of times with auto66 club and if its the same track as they use for the bikes (right at the top of the air field) don't bother taking a car where you have a really nice paint job as it'll come back at the end of the day looking like its faced a machine gun!!

its down the bottom, just after the portacabins on the right where you come in. I have a carbon bonnet, never had any issues with stones or machine guns.

i don't litterally mean machine guns from the air museum!

the bottom track's not so bad for loose stones. just the top track.

just giving a little advice thats all

Mines gonna be just about fresh paint.. lol. but I dont really care if it gets some chips, I got the car for summer and track days.

So is it possible to leave to top up petrol and come back in then?
