for a start the punto 2003 active sport is safer than the corsa b sxi i had but still saved my life so im not knocking it,punto is ncap 4 star rating, same as the new corsa c, my b was n cap 3, 106 are 3or2 same as saxo, your right with the right mods 206 look evil , but im keeping it standard until the bug comes back lol

sxi insurance after the free year isnt much. insurance isnt down to the value of the car anyway, its to do with repair cost, and nickability
the C is very cheap to repair, and not very nickable. which is why a 1.4 16v C is less to insure than a 1.4 16v B
Well didnt work in my mates case
I was going to buy a new 1L corsa, for £7500 the quoted me £2100 at 18 that was
Same for me before I got mine - a couple of years ago with the free insurance. Came with 2 years no claims at the end, now I'm paying £600.
I would go for one of the new shape Polos if I were you.
