dr jekyll frame, z1 forks, d321 rims, hope hubs, hope c2 disks and callipers, xt crank, xt shifters, xt front and rear mech, race face handle bars, carbon seatpost, fsa headset....

thats prob nearer to 1500+

lol considering the frames retail at 200-300..

the crank would have been worth not far off £180 when it was new

I wouldn't spend £180 on a Shimano crankset. Every one I have had has ended up getting rounded off and being totally useless!!

shiiit! how much is deore?

£55 is prob the lowest price going.. i sold it for like £80 on ebay used about 2 months back

deore is around same, deore and xt is almost and in some cases exactly the same anyway.

The tapers on the old style ones and the tapers on the new style splines... I also rounded off a £200 set of Race Face cranks too It was just a design fault at the end of the day, hence them using the new style splined bottom brackets.

Exactly, I havn`t had any probs with my Kraken, if I were to spend a fortune on a bike I`d be too scared to use it properly incase i damaged it

but, you will speed/run red lights/overtake in your car, but wouldnt fuk about on an expensive bike

downhill... on a hardtail


yup used it most in the local woods on the jumps couldnt afford a downhill bike at the time so put some downhill tires and a downhill stem on tyres helped loads

i bought the cheapest one they had.... crank shaft is buggered after a month... i do lots of milege though.... and i cant find my fecking reciept to bring it back...
