How much do you get paid for taking part in a medical test
cheque usually
well they don't give you cash and nor do they use money transfers to your account so they give you a cheque at the end of the trial.
I said how much though, not how...

£2-3k normally. I work for a pharma company, we spend £3million on research every day. In the scheme of things, £3k is fuck all!
Is it risky

I think animal testing is ok, but obviously it doesn't always show the effects of the drug on humans. The tests were passed when they used mice. However, in the scheme of things mice are used because they are mammals, and are quick and cheap to breed. They need to test it more on pigs and suchlike, as they are far more similar in their anatomy (looking at some on here, some are closer to pigs in anatomy than others )

thats pretty much my opinion summed up aswell, fcuking hypocrits, it's like those tree hugging cnuts that drive landrovers ffs
I think they should try out drugs on convicted rapists, peadophiles and murderers, if they die, who gives a fcuk
Plus it free's up room in prisons

i dont think testing should be done on animals at all. People have a choice of whether they want to be tested on animals dont.
But saying that, i do take medicine that has being tested on animals.

would you rather people die of diseases because no one will let them research enough or a few roddent die that would never have been born in the first place if it wasn't for them being breed for testing?!

its not just rodents though, its dogs and cats and monkeys.
Not going to argue about it, as everyone has their own opinions.
And no, medicine has not saved a life of someone close to me
