if she tells you tell her to say she was lying and it really is the other sex, then you won't know what to believe and will be back to square one!

For me cant really choose:

when i spent 5 hours in a clamp around my head at addenbrookes hospital with them poking stuff in my eye. To be told that i would never be able to see out of my left eye correctly due to a cataract from birth

the death of my grandad 5 years ago and my nan the same day 5 years later, you cant say thats just a coincedence

When my dog died in august, had been my soul mate for years

when my dad was diagnosed with cancer, he had 9 operations over 3 years and hes still fighting strong today although he cant work due to health issues

But when my sister married 5 years ago, and my brother in summer 05 was pretty moving i must admit as i had special jobs and all the planning had took place and the feeling within the churches were amazing

Ive got a few too.

When my lifelong love, Lincoln City were put into administration 4 years ago, i organised a march round the city to raise awareness of the club. I organised the whole thing myself in 3 days. i was so proud of that alone. We were expecting probably 200 people to turn up but when we left the stadium, there were about 2000 people there. As we walked round the city with the band playing and everyone singing, more and more people joined it. It was estimated that 6000 people arrived back at the ground at the end. It was lincolns biggest gate for 3 years. I was thanked by the chairman in person. That day meant so much to me.

But more meaningful than that was my dads marriage to my stepmum 2 years ago. I never got on with him when he was with my mum, and they very rarely saw my dads side of the family and what my uncle said in his speech brought a tear to my eye, 'ive finally got my brother back'.

Never saw my dad cry either untill my mates dad died of Cancer a year ago, the funeral was very sad. However in true testimant to the type of guy he was my old man made a speach which consisted of:

"ah well fowks, shit happens"

Everyone burst out laughing which at a funeral is pretty strange

There are so many sad memories in this thread, but this one got me thinking how hard it must be if your parents break up and you need to choose who you go and stay with, leaving one behind. Thank god I've never been in that position.
