-Flat Dumbell Press
-Decline Flies
-Low Cable Crossovers
Back
-Wide Rear Lat Pulldowns
-Front narrow Lat Pulldowns
-Seated Rows
-Deadlifts (Ace for back and also shoulders)
-Straight arm pulldowns
Has done the job for me over the past few months/

for chest i do dumbbell bench press, for me it gives me a chance to get a full motion on each rep and works the muscle group hard. do same on an incline benck, for the same reasons.
Sets of cable cross overs which work a treat again allow you to work on form.
And do machine flys but cant do them anymore cos they hurt my shoulder for some reason.
Also close grip bench press is good as it works the triceps hard and also the middle of your chest.
Back wise i stick to Low row, seated row, lat pull downs (2 different grips), straight arm pull downs which isolate the lats amazingly and are awesome fun todo, use the machine that does ur central muscles in your back.
I ve been training for 5 months and this week reached all my weight lifting goals so am rather happy although wana push it further!!!

press ups and sit ups will give you core strength

Press ups have no place in a bodybuilding routine if you're hitting each muscle group hard enough. Adding pressups would just be over training.
Deadlifts, now they give you core strength.

Muscles grow when you're not working them. When they're resting. If ive hit my chest hard one day, why would i want to do press ups the next morning when my chest is in recovery mode and repairing the muscle fibres i tore down the day before? Same goes for delts and triceps...

stiff legged deadlifts are good for hamstrings but i dont really recommend them unless your very careful about it.

I personally wouldn't be able to do deadlifts after a legs session.

Squats are brilliant!! work legs, bum, lower back and allsorts of the minor muscle groups.
I ve just started doing legs, on my 4th weeks and can notice the difference already.
Best advice i ve been given is that 10% of the work is at the gym 90% is down to eating and resting properly and its soo true.

60% Nutrition - 25% Workout - 10% Rest - 5% Supplementation
Training is the easy part, it's the other 23 hours in the day that are difficult. Anyone can lift weights and tear muscle fibres down - its the repair and growth that's the hard part.

yeah most people overlook the nutrition part compleatly and thats why they never grow much.
got to admit though trying to bulk at the moment, and trying to stuff enough clean food down me throat to reach my intended calorie count each day is hard to do.

are you doing the old trick off pushing your biceps out Did my legs session;
3 sets of dumbell lunges 6 reps on each leg with 18kg dumbells,
squats (on smith machine as it was only thing free) 2 sets of 8 with 20kg on each side and a set with 25 each side, feeling adventurous :lol
leg extension 3 sets
oppiste machine to that the pull towards,
then squats with a bar, 17.5 on each side. 3 sets of 8.
then 3 sets of deadlifts 20kg each side.
then strecthed, as i'm proper unflexible but working on it.
I'm steady with the weights but a bit better than the average joe, All my exercises are done at a controlled speed and emphasis on technique, unlike 90% of people in the gym. Any advise on my legs session?

4 sets of squats. To be honest you want them to be your main leg exercise so if you can do squats then deadlifts afterwards then you arent using enough weight.
