Fair one. Gotta love the banter. I can't wait for the second leg because I think it is going to be a great game of football. (btw we owe you one next season for last saturday )

to be honest we owed you one from the Prem game at Old Trafford. We were all over you (more so than at Anfield) and then Rio stole that goal at the end!!!!

I dont mind the banter with decent Utd fans, you can get some right bitter ones though...especially recently since WE ARE the champs of Europe!

yeah, and will end that way seems we cant meet you in the F.A. Cup or Champs League any more Will have to see who finishes 2nd!!

Thats bad fella It's like Smith's injury on saturday it happens in football and it's not anyones fault but it's always sad to see. It's going to be an interesting run to second with there only being 3 points in it and us still having Chelsea away and Arsenal at home (before tonight this wasn't looking like a problem but now....) I reckon we will go the distance though

oh yeah, will definitly go the distance but we've played all the hard games now (as in top 4/5), so probably got the easier run in. I would say we probably have the better team, but Utd still manage to pull the results out which is definitly down to Fergie and his past.

The annoying thing with Sissoko is that it was a foul on him (foot right in the air to kick his face) where as Smith was just an arkward landing. Was there on Sat though and was good to see with all the hostility he still got clapped off the pitch.

You could clearly see on tele that large proportions of the Liverpool fans clapped him off which I for one appreciated (after nearly smacking one in the pub as he claimed Smith should have been booked for timewasting) Anyway I really can't stand to see Liverpool win another European cup as I am sick of hearing about the last one We'll have to dig this thread up in 2 weeks time and debate the outcome.
