you ave got to be kidding, Wallcott will not make a decent impact in any top flight game for a good few years, not on a regular basis anyway. He is 16 and only played a good few games in a league that is WELL below the quality of the premiership let alone the champions league. I think he'll be a good player, just not for a few years yet.

Glad Arsenal won, but im a football fan, i love the beautiful game, so people like Reyes and Lehman need to be punished for constantly cheating..

were they both at it again?

Lehmen gets away with play acting more than most out field players. The other week when he pushed that player over and also dived onto the floor but jumped up when he didnt get a free kick was a joke, didnt even get a yellow for either.

well to be honest he has.

There have been so many players at 16 who have been labelled as the next great thing, then just not grown up to be it. You have to remember that from 16-20ish a lad will change alot in physique and that can make or break a player. He only made 8 appearences for Southampton before xmas, hardly 12m worth is it!!

Rooney is special, cos from when he was 15/16 he had a mans body and physique, my cats are bigger built than walcott

You could say that about alot of up and coming youngsters out there, its only because you as a team have had to use them because you have had injuries or something

I would like nothing more than Wallcott to be an instant hit (even being a Liverpool fan) as its only good for English football. But I just think your putting too much pressure on the young guy when he is sooooo young just because your team isnt doing so great recently.

I mean Rooney, Owen, Fowler, Gerrard, Lampard, etc. were all atleast 17 nearly 18 before they even got a little bit of a look in at a Premiership level. And even that was just coming on a few times a season getting used to playing at a totally different level.

ARSEENAAAAALLLLLL

Really impressed tonight on the whole.

Defence was strong, the mildfielders worked well together and got back when they needed to.

For once Reyes had a alright game apart from needing to grow a right foot that is

Lehman look alright also, doesnt catch the ball as much as id like, but if it stops it from going in the net, i dont care.

But once again we relied on Henry geting us the goal, which really does worry me, what if hes not with us next season? Wel have a brand new stadium with no big stars to play in it? Very worrying IMO

Fabregas also had a good game, very impressive for such a youngster to walk into one of the greatest stadiums on the planet and still put out a good performance.

Roll in the 2nd leg at highbury i say, could be interesting.

I still dont have much faith in us, as in i always expected us to win, but then again, if i expect to lose, then winning is always a bonus

Real were terrible but will sort it before the away leg at Highbury. I would still put money on Madrid to go through.

Cambell, Cole....you do have some good English players, just injured. And to be honest Prem clubs would have more if lower division clubs didnt ask for ridiculous prices (12m for a 16 yr old ). Pitty half your Englsih players are pooftahs
