if you can get an exclusive (same as the top pic).
they came with irmscher lights, rear number plate panel/bumper, irmscher 400 style spoiler, a different recaro interior etc
i've had about 6 manta's, all hatches, always wanted a coupe.
i still have a gt/e hatch outside, with a mint interior, 2.0 8v with at least a cam etc, dont know the full spec.
its stripped just now for workin on but its not been touched in years, got a garage full of bits too!!

get pics of the panel between the lights and the bonnet, particulary right above the lights.
also inner wings, door bottoms, rear arches, and (without checkin as i'm lazy), if its a hatch, the rear of the roof in front of the tailgate.

All three photos are Manta GTE's - you can tell by the four slots on the grille (base models have two)
GTE's come in both Coupe and Hatch versions.
As for rust, 99.9% of Manta's need a lot of restoration work, it took me a long, long, long, long time to find one as mint condition as mine:
Adam if you want any advice / information on Manta's give me a shout.

I have just phoned the guy now and i'm going to go and have a look at it tomorrow dinner time fella, also spoke to a guy who I know who owns a few Manta's and he knows the guy who is selling it. He last saw it 10 months ago and said it was very good then and its been in a garage since then and always kept in one. So as far as i know it should be pretty mint
