Icey,
I get given at least three cards a day in my trade....if I want to keep them i have a purpose made wallet (about 300x100mm) with sleeves to keep cards in
IMO veer away from standard card size and they will end up in a bin

I like this mate. Is it gonna be double sided or folded etc.? Pic one side, text the other, not just one long card.

shop the number plate out on the car pic, think it will look cleaner then. It's a small detail but every bit counts.

i agree, did alot of reaserch into buisness cards and what you want is if you fling a pile down yours to stand out. Doesnt have to be mad could be just something really plain and simple. Black card with IcyPix in silver with your number underneath. If your giving them out then people will remember why they got your card so dont put loads of detail on it.
Done a few mocks of buisness cards on stones like a rune and some on metal. Seen loads of cool ones tho like liquid inside or inflatable ones with the details suspended inside.
They all look too much like vibs, dnt think they look very proffesional. Bit like a last min fling together. And your fonts are all wrong
ow and dont put lettering ovet the reflection in the pic it kinda merged it together and looked messy.
Oh its kirst btw

This layout is good. I would put your job title on a seperate line so it doesn't look too clutured.
Might look good with an image along the top of the 2nd side. I would have thought a faded image would be better for this
Change your email to IcyPix so it matches the front

No no no no no no no
And no
It would HAVE to be doble sided if your going to have an image, which IMO is so gay, no-one does this.
Design yourself a LOGO, people relate more to a logo than an image, gives you an identity.
IMO you should look at doing the cards portrait instead of landscape, as it is seen as being more modern.
A black background with silver logo on one side, and make sure it is SILVER INK, not colour, looks 100x better.
On the reverse just have
ian chan
photographer
t: 0123456789
e: info@blahblah.co.uk
in the bottom right / left. with your logo smaller in the top right / left.
get them done properly, on a 300gm silk board and also matt laminated. if you need them done, i can sort u a price mate. as i do stuff like this all day long.
also look into different fonts, as the standard ones are shite as.
