My last Impreza Turbo had 130k miles, original engine and sweet as a nut.

My most recent one (my daily runner) has only 30k, but wont take long to knock em on as i do 25k miles a year easy

Youve just got to make sure you look after them:

1) Warm up and cool down properly
2) Use a good synthetic oil
3) Follow service schedule
4) Ideally install boost, oil temp and oil pressure gauges (and a knocklink!!)
5) If its an import run at least Optimax (ideally with some octane booster)
6) Modify sensibly - Remap if you decat and dont use induction kits with standard MAF sensor
7) The Impreza is a sprinter - Dont hold it at 160 as the cooling system isnt effecient enogh as standard

BTW for that sort of money I would try and get a nice UK turbo myself! That way, you will have history, probably a standard car (a good base to work on) and will know it will run ok on UK fuel!
