The one in my avatar is my current girlfriend, but weve been going through a funny time recently and has made me think really.

Ive been done over twice, so i turned into a man hoe. This is the first one ive treated properly and cared about since my x, but i stil dont care that much.

Maybe the old saying 'plenty more fish in the sea' really has settled in

Dave that trust more about you than her.

Its only a feeling based on what you've experienced. If you get a knock its hard to trust in the future, but won't always tie in with the trustworthyness of your partner.

It will take you fooking ages to get over it trust me, but you will get over it.

Plus on the whole not letting her in thing, if you really like her, and she really likes you that shouldnt matter. You will let her in eventually, so just take it slow for now

i dont think you fully get over someone you truelly loved, ive been single 18 months now ive met numerous girls and just havent clicked with a single one like i did with my ex, and as Fad says, i seen her last weekend in a bar and got that sinking feeling just got to learn from the experience i guess and get on with life.
Personally in my case i have been done twice also and now i just treat girls badly and i know i do but dont seem to help it, its become to easy to get what i want then after few weeks move on to someone new.

but if you leave your hand out of the fire you might get caught by the candle on the coffee table.
I'e if she know you don't trust her she might get pissed off and cheat on you.

Thats not her though - thats you. Its not like she's not the one, its that you haven't noticed it because you're too burnt to be open to that again.

She might be your future wife, but you're not in a position to judge while you associate relationships with hurt.

I usually go a year or so between relationships for that reason. Not in to them otherwise. Thats why I'm 27
