well, im back home for now...
unfortunately im car'less until i collect it
anyways here the diary

after about 50miles of country side and 80miles of this i got to oldham...
with a little help from the sat nav i bought on the way
anyways beardy turned up and i followed him to his garage...
no hanging around with that lad up on the ramp and bonnet open within 5mins

he started un wiring the loom so he could drop the engine
within a few minutes

kabooom disconnected loom... ( please not i took this as he stepped back so there may be still some things connected in the picture )

out it came just over an hour
pretty good that I reckon... no messing there....

and here my dead corsa with an empty bay! (pretty scary that)
Next step was to change the brakes off came the original brakes

and on with the new ones...

before collecting we had a game of dodge the focus... then hide from the focus and its angry contents..
After we'd completed all this we decided it was time to collect the engine etc..
bit of a problem though with the engine..
a few bits would need buying due to missing pieces...
but shit happens.. after arriving home 4.30 am we got to sleep
bit gutted as i was going home today without my car.. the plans where to get it done and completed by today
and Adam made my morning!! " got corsa out back there!"

he give my his v6 to take home whilst mine is being done!!
oh and here my new 2nd set of wheels..
Overall its been a bloody awsome weekend... dispite all the downfalls

was abit gutted about the weekend as would of been done by dinner time saturday, at least i had a good night a poker on saturday .
BUT down to prolems with the engine we went to pick up, looking down into the bores; down threw the spark plug holes and theres a lovly bolt in there, so who knows what else has gone down there so would of needed the head taking off and all looking over (plus odd few bits missing) SOOO we are now on the look out for a good 1.4 16v
