It's a stack dash. Would have been more acceptable if he got the exact same dash from a VX220? Also, Vauxhall and Lotus do a fair bit of work together.

I think I need to fit one of these to my car... Out of interest, where did you get the dash and loom from? Also, how much?

Please read my second comment in this post...

And yes...I would have thought VX220 clocks would have been better as there coming from the same make of car...therefore more in line with the Corsa...

Does no one understand where im coming from?

all in good time
the dials are EXACTLY the same as whats fitted to the vx220, so what if it says lotus on. i see your point and its a fair one, but i didnt fancy spending £1k+ on a stack dash when this is as good
buying either a front or rear ABS setup at the weekend if i can get it off the car at scrapyard, hopefully that'll sort it.
another point is that the fuel tank sender reads opposite in the elise to the corsa, so it says REFILL all the time. i plan to butcher the old fuel guage so i just have a low fuel light

Why don't you just swap the wires round on the fuel sensor so it works in reverse? Or find a sensor that works?

It's because the VX220 tank is very slim so on a corsa one gets upset very easily, you can put some extra restiance on the sensor line to shut it up I think.

have to havea n 8k limit, that's what stopped me getting one, need a 9k limit.

Thats quality, i will deffo be doin that when i get my corsa... we all know lotus and vauxhall made the lotus carlton and there was nothin wrong with that, its just like havin lockwood or plasma written on your dials, see it as a tuning company rather than a car maker, if that makes sense...

I like the fact that it says Lotus on it, plus it looks much better than a standard Vauxhall jobby

so far its cost me £200, including another corsa dash from scrapyard to hack up, and some wiring connectors.
still need to buy a convertor for the speedo when thats sorted (bloke on migweb building some) and do something for fuel guage
