Eml is on and its overfuelling cant have it dioged cause pin 6 isnt wired up

dont need the 6 pin. just connect the yellow/brown wire from the ecu to earth, then your fault codes will flash.

1. de-cats do not affect fuel consumption.
2. they defiantely do not cause valves to burn
decats do affect MPG. they lose you low down torque

Vibrio, i agree, but x16xe engines have none anyway
i would prefer a gain at 5000rpm+ and a little less low down torque. only worthwile with a matching 4 branch and good exhaust sytem as well.

guys what do you all call a 'tankful'? to running it dry, until the light comes on, or when it reaches the red?
In my 1.6 standard, I got around 270 miles to the start of the red, which worked out at around 30 mpg. That was including around 80 motorway miles and the rest doing around 30mph on local roads.

i used to get about 280 miles to a tank in mine, currently, im experienceing the red light within 115 miles from a full tank

Paperclip test just says EGR but its had a new one !!
