I love the seats/door cards and that, not keen on the dash but it grows on you, seats are so comfy....

I like the chrome handles etc too....could do with better gear knob and handbrake handle but thats something i can change

He could get a newer T4 than mine...Mine is an s reg, FSH 65K on the clock and I got it for 4k..

With 7k I would tell him to go for the higher end models, t4's and t5's..Depends what size he wants..The s40 like mine, v70 is the estate version or go bigger still
Mine is rank on petrol though, getting about 20mpg driving normal...
Will get a good spec model for that money....

Tell him to look on T5forums and s40concepts and that...

I looked at audi a4 1.8 T and they were nothing compared to the T4...

In this you've got it all..

Personally - I think it looks good.
You have the power
you have all the toys you could want
you have all the comfort you could want
And to boot it's a volvo so it's safe..

What more could i ask for... I personally love it and out of all my cars this is the fav...

Nope. The S70 is the saloon version of the V70. The V40 is the S40 estate.
You tried Sel Imperial yet, Mav?

Cracking car by the way, always loved Volvos, especially the original S40 like yours and V70.
I'm looking to get an 850/V70 later in the year if money allows.
