My pal just bought one. His dad had to bring it home from the garage as he later found out he cant get insured on it as he is 19 and got 0ncb and 1 write off against his name

Not been able to drive it yet!

just remeber just cos an elise can go round corners quick doesnt mean the driver can. and in a straight line there nowt special . just a posh track car

sorry but an idiot could go round corners in an elise quicker than a corsa, especially with a v6 in the front

corsa_sam - ive found that the v6 (when you learn how to drive it) goes round corners better than a lot of other cars, including mine when i had my 1.6 lump!

explain why you think adding a heavier lump improves handling?

schoey with al due respect, i cant belive you kept with an elise that was trying round corners

on strights yes, as the s1 was a k series and s2 is a vvc engine, not all that quick

but a v6 corsa against whats regarded as one of the best track toys made

i kniw i kept wirh him round the bends,,,,,,,to be honest i think the driver was absolutely shoot, so it WAS a one off! but hey, i still kept up with one!

there not bad, personally i prefer the modified ones with a CTR engine either turbo or supercharge as it then has the power it should have always had

neither did i untill i started looking a few weeks ago , im after an economical car , was getting an S2K but the bank has fooked me about with the finance , was meant to pick it up 2mo but looks like i have to get sumit cheaper now and elise is about all i really like.
