The problem is is that Iran has stated on the record that Isreal 'should be wiped off the face of the map'. Isreal already has nuclear weopons and we therefore could face a nuclear war or another 'cold war' situation.
It doesn't help that Isreal likes attacking people and Iran have stated their intensions.
