Definately report it. There is no excuse for her to have done that.
As for not being able to stop anywhere I would have stopped the car in the road. I don't care who I'm holding up, if someones crashed into me I want all of their details right there and then!
Good luck with getting it sorted, let us know how you get on. Irresponsible people like this should not be allowed on the roads.

right, just called local police station, explained what happened and that i cant come down to give proper statement etc as iv gota go to work, theyve basically said if i want to follow it up ill have to go to the station with her Reg etc and give proper statement, however as she drove off and i didnt get anyone else's details then there's not really much they can do...

Similar thing happened to my sister, some dozy cow went into the back of her at a roundabout and then had the cheek to say it was my sister that rolled back into her! The road was fucking flat too Either way my sister got her car sorted at no cost.

they can check over both cars & you can also request details to claim on HER insurance...

right update, got a call off police tonight, apparently she has tried to blaim me as her bumper is scratched however as id rang them first, and theyve also got intouch with the 3 men in the van who've backed me up, shes in the shit

they didnt say too much as it was over phone, but apparently they got a call off a woman tonight claiming that she'd been hit by a car (gave my reg) but apparently she was vague with the details of what happened (obviously as its her front bumper thats marked)
