be careful with confused, best quote i got with them was £980 from diamond, when i rang diamond up so get the policy they wanted to charge me £1300...which i refuse to pay

i paid 1650 for a 1.4 sri at 17 with elephant and i paid it monthly.

i paid about £290 odd fully comp under my dads name though with cis, he had %70 no claims.

cheapest i could get on me own was about £1200 odd, on a 1.2 8v .

yes it would but i wanted to build no claims up etc so now at 19 im going to be insured on 2.0 redtop astra mk3 Gsi for less than £1500

1500 is more than what most 1.2 corsas etc are worth though. i thought my insurance was high at 750. thats fc for a v6 omega

tbh i think its worth not having any no claims and going on your dads/mams insurance.

you save a hell of a lot your first few years, i must have saved about £3000 and over easily by using my dads cover.

now im 20 im old enough to have cheaper quotes any way, and a few insurance companies will take your time driving into account.

plus one or two companies will ofer you some no claims if you have been a named driver.

i payed about 1200 when i was 19 fully comp on a 1.2 8v. That was with Liverpool victoria and that was one of the cheapest about.

I was 17 in september. Cost me £1395 on a completely standard 97 1.2 8v Corsa. TPFT an i haven't told em my mods.

It's cheaper if you haven't passed your test yet as you have to drive with an adult that has

no pass plus or anything, 17 passed test and brought a 1.2 8v and insured it for £1200 which was the best i could get

£2300, with kit and alloys etc. also live in highest risk post code imaginable. well worth doin pass plus as that lowered mine from £2800
