Im in the 2nd year now, Majority of placement companies have cut back for 2006, WRC has seen a large shake round etc, i have about 6 teams that are willing to employ me for a voluntary basis, but id be more in debt after uni and not sure if id gain that much!
But i have a few good interviews soon!
Its who you know, not What you know!

unfortunately yeh it is who you know not what you know these days, the lad i work with now use to work for prodrive and ralliart and i went along to a test session for ralliart at the end of last year to have a look at what goes on. If you cant find a team that will give you anything more than just volutary, then it still might be worth it as you will gain quite abit of knowledge and experience off the guys there.

yeh exactly!
Prodrive is my Number 1 choice for a job!
I have an F3 team interested but will see how that goes!
Yes experience is the number one thing, and i just gotta keep trying. Ive done 4 weeks with caterhams and the formula ford festival as a number 2 mechanic 2 years in a row now
