Questions that have been bothering me.

1. Black Rock, tall ship from early 19th century, made in Portsmouth (says so beneath ship name) how, and what connection does this have?

2. When Locke is pulled down the hole by what ever it is, the thing sounds mechanical, like clockwork joints, then when they blow it up a black cloud moves over them then disapears, opinons?

oliver, black rock is a mystery to me too. kind of puzzled me that one. however in the latest episode we get a much MUCH closer look at the black smoke thingy

Yes I just saw on the recaps thing, my monitor is a bit ropey, I noticed some sort of electrical current going through it, did you see anything else that I did'nt?

The video also shows the blast doors and some Jap guy telling them not to use the computer as a way or means of communicating with the outside world, so clearly the island is a experiment of some kind but a experiment of what?
