The skirts on my corsa were filled with expanding foam , they becam solid

once youve done the fiberglass, take a peice of thich aluminium and shape it in behind the repair, drill and countersink some holes then use rivets or self tappers to hold it to the bumper, then cataloy over the screw and hole, will make it much stronger with less flex in the repair
