In all seriousnes though, if insurance was an issue, have you considered leaving it for a while, get a years no claims?!

Beating that, just buy what you want, you will only be disappointed if you buy anything less!

Man thats steap for that size engine and your age.....is that fully comp or tpft? if you have no ncb, go for a 10 month bonus accelerator policy, though some people say that certain insurance companies dont accept it as a ncb

Power output isnt bad at all for a 1.8!

If you want power but your scared of insurance your just gunna have to face facts and wait my boy! Its a harsh fact of life that they cost alot to insure. I waited untill i was 21 and saved up my NCB before getting anything more than a 1.4

I now have a 2.0turbo

yep its steap aint it, that was with adrian flux fully comp, all mods declared.

20 no NCB 2 years driving 1 claim (not at fault)

i got one of them online rapid bonus quotes with norwich union and that was about £1000 with NO mods declared. you have to be 21 to have mods declared with them.

i haven't bothered reading the whole thread because it just turned daft from the start

You want a 1.8 astra because the insurance isn't too much and you can't buy a high powered car for the same reason, insurance.

It's gonna be just the same if not more if you turbo an astra, so why not just buy a turbo astra and save a packet load of money FFS

Mike just get a 1.6 the only noticeable different will be the engine size...

going from a cora to an astra should be a bit of a power increase anyway

Why do you always start with the "gayboy" shit when I make a genuine comment? You must like your threads getting trashed

I do like corsas, when done tastefully, and before you comment on my old ones I know they are gash but that's been and gone and wasn't actually that bad 4 years ago when I did them.

Not much point saying my scooby isn't original is it? What car is actually original
