95 issues @ £7.99 an issue

Bought to you by Mafiosi publications

''Week by week you can assemble this 3rd rate model car over a period of 48 months for three times the price of a better model and then find that not only can you not get bits for it, but you'll either miss at least one issue or the importers/publishers will go out of business 6 months into the promo, or your newsagent will stop ordering it.''

I STRONGLY advise not to waste your time and money.

BTW, I realy want to urinate inside that bird in your avatar Korsa.

Both my brushless 1/10th DTM Merc, and my 1/5th scale 2 stroke car are worth about a grand new in parts and I have many other cars, a lot of which owe me 500 quid or more, but you can build all sorts of cars in various scales that utilise varying power sources for various applications for any ammount of money realy - within reason.

What sort of car you after?

DTM M3 I presume.

Halfords don't actually keep any parts for the HPI cars.

You're better off with a decent model shop - many have on line services now aswell and are very helpfull.

Best to decide exactly what car you want and then buy it from the cheapest model shop that are official dealers of that brand - that way you'll have a good source of advice, spares and hop-up parts.

Carson Attack?

'Tis a tool - bit of a Marder doppelganger.

Saw the Carson Comanche in the flesh about a week ago - ha ha, it's bloody massive.

Got a 26cc Marder Race

Almost convulsed laughing at the size of the thing when I first opened the box - I mean, I already knew they were big, i've seen them before, but when you haven't seen one in a while and you open the box on your own personal brand new one, the size realy gets you and you can't help but chuckle.

She's got dampers like a sodding moped
