I don't know about deducting the pay, but in asda anyway, clocking in then goin up to get ready or whatever is a sackable offence.
Classed as fraud.
You are supposed to clock in just before you go on the shop floor.

I work in halfords, we sell around £4000 worth of ripspeed a week, but about £26000 of audio, which includes sat nav. Guess which you need to no more about, although alloy wheels are quite handy to know stuff about.
